Otodayo artist Sacred Sciences has been managing a label of his own, under which he has just released a new EP - Spacewalker. This interesting two-track body of work juxtaposes heavy neuro bass sound design with melodic instrumentation reminiscent of the Far East. The title track of the EP is a halcyon mid-tempo tune, featuring melodious string plucks and rolling percussive breaks. Though it may be difficult to describe the song within the confines of any one definitive sub-genre, its vibes do bring the word chill to mind.

The second song, Dominator, seems to take a similar sound design approach to that of the first, but delivers an energy level unrivaled by its counterpart. The track is an aggressive drum and bass production that fools the listener with a misleading mellow intro, only to build up into a drop that is pure chaos. It does well to embody the stark contrast of sounds that Sacred Sciences sought to produce with the Spacewalker EP. Both tracks are available for free download on Apollyon Records.
