One of the bigger accomplishments that NYC artist LEFTI is known for is creating his prominent label, Quincy Boy Records. Now LEFTI and fellow NYC house guru Rich Furniss have linked up to drop Quincy Boy Records' newest single, "You Made It". This disco-fueled house heater is layered with sensational vocals from Amazonian Rockstar and supports a magnetic bassline.
In regard to the process of making "You Made It", Rich says, "writing this song with Nicki "Amazonian Rockstar" was magical, we sat and just talked about where we were in life. When she came back with the lyrics and vocals, I knew this would be a hit. I had to bring in my long-time brother Lefti to take this song to the next level. I hope this song takes listeners on the same journey it took me on."
"You Made It" is far from the only original from LEFTI and Rich that takes its audience on an adventure. LEFTI has dropped records on Toolroom, Box of Cats, Universal Music, and Let There Be House, to name a few. On the DJing side, Rich has performed alongside Diplo and Chromeo, while playing sets at SXSW, Mayhem Fest, Governors Ball, and other flagship events. Together, this pair of artists should definitely be on every house music lover's radar.
