Brother duo Record Club are back with not 1 but 2 singles this time around. True to the focus of their signature sound, both "After Dark," and "Made Me Do It," feature intense moods encircling the genres of big room and electro house Considering the return of Hardwell, who helped give foundation to these type of sounds, the genre is making a comeback surely to a certain degree. Alex and Dan, who make up the duo, exquisitely reinvigorate the genre with a modern feel via the productions that they make.

Since the start of this project, this is exactly what their goal has been - to give new life to electro house and big room sounds that dominated the music stratosphere is the 2010's. It's this time period within electronic music that inspired these two the most and why they are on this path musically today.

"After Dark," shines with a certain club-friendly atmosphere. The buttery smooth production is easy to follow and drives confidence within those who listen. The synth work is one of the prime factors that makes this experience exciting, sending a near-involuntary groove through the body of Record Club fans. With an arrangement that's fluid and an overall concept that fits their style, "After Dark," goes beyond the expectations one could of set out for it.

“Picture this. You’re at an underground rave in a dark warehouse. The DJ is playing a song that pulsates through your body with each thumping kick. The pattern of the drop synths and eerie robotic vocals have put you in a trance. This is the type of setting we created the track around and is the effect we want it to have on our listeners each time they experience our song.”

"Make Me Do It," features a euphoric vocal alongside a colorful instrumental. Bouncy and easy to follow, the track falls right in the lane of what fans have come to expect from Record Club in all the best ways, while pushing the limits and including certain sonic surprises within all in the same go. Clean and full of life, "Made Me Do It," hits the spot in more ways than one.

“The lyrics for ‘Made Me Do It’ serve as the cornerstone to our track because it is about how love can be a powerful force behind the decisions people make. Our love of progressive house music led us to start Record Club, and this track embodies the passion we have for this genre. When people listen to our track we want them to think all the times that they have embarked on a path in life that was guided by their love of someone or something.”
