Louisiana-based Kevin Gates recently got the unofficial remix treatment from LA based artists DJCJ and Bloodtone for his track 'Really Really'. This song hit the public about a year ago as the fourth single from Kevin Gate's debut record Islah, which eventually dropped this past January. The original track is a classic Southern trap banger but was eventually given the filthy bass house treatment and it is definitely one to look forward to on the dance floor.

The tune is driven with euro-synth minor chords and a pulsating house beat, eventually falling victim to the half-time chorus of the original track. It isn't long until the blood-thirsty bass growls send the listener to the peak of their trip. The drop remains simple and heavy with a ton of fine detail to the production as we are used to from both Bloodtone and DJCJ. The second drop gets event juicier with a breakbeat style attitude that perfectly mediates the blend from trap to house.
Overall we could tell that both Bloodtone and DJCJ put their all into this banger and we're excited to se it spread to clubs and festival sets this Fall.
