Ready, Steady, Die! have gone all out for their music video for "Kiss It." A duo currently based in New York, for Morgan Visconti, and London, for Sam K., they have built out a music video with a twisted edge to it. Utilizing real actors blended in with clever CGI - without giving away to much - the video is edgy and hilarious, showcasing plenty of surprises within that keeps the listener glue to the screen.
The vibes going on sonically, are hard-hitting, which acts as a fitting backdrop to the chaos visually. Sam's vocal give a dark feel to the rough-around-the-edges instrumental that supports the topline. Bass guitar-heavy and chugging along with a sort of grit and bone that is embedded with it, Ready, Steady, Die! have hit the nail on the head with this one all things considered.
Here is a bit the group has shared in regards in this release
“We were delighted to work with Director Max Clendaniel, who has a warped and ingenious sense of humour. We worked remotely with him and the animation company Immix. We only came up with the suggestion of erotic shadow puppets and Max scripted the whole storyline. The star, Alan Medcroft truly brought the whole thing to life."
