Preview: Tony Junior & Baggi Begovic - Plur Warriors

June 27, 2014 -

Christopher Lavinio

Normally, I tend to stay away from the PLUR (Peace Love Unity and Respect) craze around the world. But, with the rave concept stemming from the start of the 1990’s, it's definitely something worth keeping an eye on. Fast forward 24 years where we find Tony Junior and Baggi Begovic, the Dutch duo who reinvigorate the age-old anthemic abbreviation and give it a 2014 twist. Featuring nice child vocal cuts also used in TNT’s Nakonga and originally sampled from Tahiti Tahiti’s “Na Wai Ho’olulu O Ke Anuenue” and a drum driven drop the track creates a great festival vibe. Listen and enjoy!
