2012 was one hell of a year for the progressive house master Eric Prydz, with the culmination of over a decade of top class production, finally brought to us in his EPIC (pun intended) eponymous album 'Pryda'. Following on from one of his tightest productions to date, 'Every Day', and what is almost definitely going to be the greatest Essential Mix of 2013, Pryda is back with a track which stays true to his dark progressive roots. Power Drive showcases slightly detuned key work over intricate beats, which eventually builds into an almost electro feel towards the end of the preview. As this was premiered live by Zane Lowe on Radio One, he affirmed ecstatically that he sees Prydz as being alongside the great electronic music artists such as the Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Daft Punk and even Farley 'Jackmaster Funk' Keith, the Chicago House Pioneer. This is true Progressive Gold, have a listen to the preview before its release on the 1st of April!
