What makes a house track more intriguing to listen to? When a remix takes it a whole level deeper. Back in May, Felix Jaehn uploaded his track Shine featuring Freddy Verano and singer-songwriter Linying to SoundCloud as a preview. Although it was not released until November 14th, it has garnered over 1.4 million plays and countless likes and comments. So any remix of it has a lot to live up to.
German deep and minimal house producer duo Artenvielfalt (which translates to biodiversity) have given this track a nostalgic deep house twist. The nostalgia factor comes in when you hear the jazzy flute flourishes over the funky guitar strumming, giving you the feel of listening to a jazz combo at a bar. But then they throw in a deep drop with a garage style lead accompanied by the flute and synths, and it all just blends in so well. It is perfect for lounging around and just listening to.
The one downside, however...is that it isn't set to release until December 5th. Mark your calendars though, folks, because this track is about to get big! Happy Listening!
