Hostage's First US Release- Bully EP

March 11, 2015 -

Will Cuccurullo

Edinberg-based Hostage has been a fan favorite in the UK for years, treating fans with a variety of genres from future house to techno. With an ever-growing scene for this style of music emerging in the states, it's not surprising that his music is transitioning well to U.S. listeners. Los Angeles label Nite Records recently struck a deal with Hostage, marking his first ever release with an American label. The two-track Bully EP clearly displays Hostage's genre diversity; the title track features a more laid back sound, while Phase3B is significantly darker. The heavy bassline of the EP's second track stand in stark contrast to the loungy sound of the title track. The EP can be streamed via Soundcloud or purchased through Beatport.
