With 2023 festival season in full-swing our most anticipated West Coast festival has finally been announced. Portola 2023 is here with a jam-packed lineup including Eric Prydz, Skrillex, Flying Lotus, SBTRKT, and many more.
Portola is a San Francisco based music festival hosted by Goldenvoice (better known for Coachella). This event debuted last September to much acclaim. Our coverage of it can be found here.
The event takes place on Pier 80 at the edge of San Francisco. It hosts one mainstage, two tent stages and one warehouse stage. It felt like Coachella but instead of the hot Palm Desert you get a chilly coastal breeze. It stands out from Coachella and Outside Lands with its unique experimental electronic lineup.
In an age where pop music has taken all massive music festivals hostage, Portola is our savior.
We did not think that they could top last year's lineup, but here we are. There is almost too many highlight artists to name but we will try a few.

We cannot even fathom how insane this weekend will be! So much variety. We are especially excited for some of the jazzier bookings like Thundercat, Masego, and Little Dragon.
