Passion Pit - Carried Away (Dillon Francis Remix)

April 2, 2013 -

Brett Blackman

After a month since the radio rip of Dillon Francis' remix of "Carried Away" was immediately taken down from SoundCloud, we are finally blessed by the final cut of the Passion Pit song we have all come to love. Quite different from the trapesquse version of Justin Timberlake's "Suit and Tie' remix, Dillon changes it up a little with his newest remix - he appropriately names his spin of "Carried Away" as "Moombahton on acid." With a wild, hippie-like feel, the chore progression of the lead singers voice is chopped up into happy go lucky synths for your ears to dance to. This song comes just in time for Spring and the two performances of the two at Coachella next week in Palm Springs, California. See you all at Coachella! Enjoy the song, because hopefully it brings the much needed warm weather to us.
