Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with the charismatic one-man show, Robert DeLong right after his set at Budweiser's Made in America. In between the fans getting their faces painted in the Robert Delong style, the Seattle native blew me away during his set with his setup and and performance. Sure I've seen his set-up before on the Internet, but to see it in person is something else when someone is jamming with an upwards of 10 gizmos, gadgets and instruments, including: drums, a wii and multiple video game controllers, a launchpad, and who knows what else like tambourines and rain sticks. Most known for his songs, "Happy" and "Global Concepts," he also recently did an official remix for Bruno Mars's, "Treasure." So when I sat down to find out how he excited was to have finished his 4 year long project and debut album, "Just Movement" finally in between touring for Lollapalooza, Coachella, SXSW, Governor’s Ball, Sasquatch! and Ultra Music Festival, just to name a few this year, still he was planned to finish out a few more shows on the east coast, as well as having Treasure Island Music Festival and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in the upcoming months. For evrything else Robert DeLong, visit RobertDeLong.com amd pick up his album, "Just Movement," here, it's definitely worth the buy! Without further ado, enjoy!
