Capitalizing on twerking’s fifteen minutes of fame of late, Dada Life debuted their take on the ubiquitous Major Lazer earworm, “Bubble Butt,” on Soundcloud yesterday. In one of the more creative remixes I’ve seen so far, the happy-go-lucky Swedish duo completely flip the original, running the chorus through a heavily processed vocoder that builds into a grimy big room thump. Think Knife Party’s “EDM Death Machine” but with a hypnotizing hook that mechanically bounces around to the beat. No word of an official release date yet but you can bet on hearing this one in the clubs and festival circuit. Stream the remix below and let us know what you think!
