Ahead of the first studio album of deep house sensation Hot Since 82, the Yorkshire man has been teasing us with a few tracks taken from his 13 song 'Little Black Book.' Featuring some of his old classics such as 'So High' and 'Planes & Trains' the new album has 8 fresh tracks including 'Hot's Groove' and 'Chords.' Out of the previewed songs, 'The End' featuring Italian deep house stalwart Joe Vannelli and the soothing vocals of Csilla, was the track that stood out. With Hot Since 82 labelling it his favourite track of the album and many notable DJs such as Pete Tong and Jaymo & Andy George supporting it, this is definitely going to be one of this years biggest releases. Beginning with Hot Since 82's typical deep, groovy and melodic sound the track slowly fades into a blissful, exquisite section of stringplay and vocals, sampled from Reflekt's 'Need To Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha Vocal Mix)' before smashing into a harder final section featuring bass snares and repetitive horns that superbly round up a huge release. Huge new remix from in my opinion one of Deep House's huge new stars, Hot Since 82. The Yorkshireman has had a flurry of new releases including a fresh remix of Rudimentals track ' Right Here.' However this time he turns to Chicago born electronica legend Green Velvet. The original of 'Bigger Than Prince,' was released 3 months ago and features an extremely minimal and deep composition throughout, which Hot Since 82 has successfully converted into a bass heavy deep sound which he is so famous for. The track begins with eerie, swaying vocals before smashing into a deep, head bopping chunk of signature Hot Since 82 sounds. Once again, Hot Since 82 delivers and it is safe to say that he has been one of the most talented remixers over the past year. The track is released soon on Yousef's 'Circus Recordings.' Along with fellow bloggers Hugh and Mike, I am seriously looking forward to seeing him at this years Creamfields Festival.
