Let me start by saying this: I'd never seen Wolfgang Gartner live before this event. I was expecting it to be the usual EDM-DJ-Nightclub show but after reading about Gartner's prowess as a live performer and as a DJ, you could say that I was really excited to witness my first show as a member of the Daily Beat family.
When I got to LURE right at opening time, I saw an empty expanse of a club that was to be filled to capacity later that night. The extravagant array of floor tables and the lighting structures were only a preview of the insane light show that Wolfgang Gartner's video techs must have had prepared for the show.
At first when I heard that the legendary Tomorrowland music festival was coming to Atlanta I was skeptical. It's just another typical EDM marketing ploy to pop up a new music festival in a mid-size city and slap a big name like "Tomorrowland" over it to bring crowds. But Tomorrowworld proved me wrong. With a world class lineup, a mainstage that looks directly imported from Belgium, and DJs bringing their A+ game, I'm strongly tempted to empty my bank account and fly out for the last two days. For the time being, I'll have to settle for dancing uncontrollably around my apartment to the recorded sets. Here are my top three so far [......]
