Putting listeners in a trance, veteran duo Orbital has released their brand new single "Are You Alive?" This eccentric track is the third single from their upcoming album, Optical Delusion, which will be available on February 17. The song follows the previously released "Dirty Rat" with Sleaford Mods and "Ringa Ringa (The Old Pandemic Folk Song)" featuring The Mediaeval Baebes. "Are You Alive" is a collaboration with brother-sister act Penelope Isles and poses an existential question, similar to the duo's previous tracks "Are We Here?" and "Where Is It Going?".

Encompassing reality-distorting soundscapes and ethereal production, "Are You Alive?" was created when Orbital's Paul Hartnoll added lyrics by Lily Wolter of Penelope Isles to an instrumental track. Suddenly the dance anthem developed into a haunting breakup song. Previewing the forthcoming LP, Optical Delusion will delve into the increasingly surreal and chaotic world.

Continuing to etch their names in the history books of EDM, Orbital has been at the top of their game since the acid house era. The innovative pair of artists will embark on a UK headline tour in the spring to celebrate their 10th studio album.
