Noisia Brings Ultimate Night of D&B To Webster Hall [6.19.15]

June 17, 2015 -

It seems that drum and bass has made a triumphant return to relevancy in 2015 and as per usual Webster Hall is on top of it by bringing through some of the biggest names in the genre, Noisia and Black Sun Empire, The Upbeats and Mash BP.

The Dutch trio rose to fame during one of the surges of drum and bass in the UK during the late 2000's but with the recent boom the genre has had, Noisia been dubbed as one of the legends. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of their own Vision Recordings, Noisia is definitely going to bring the heat by digging up tracks from their deeper catalog, making this the ultimate die-hard fan's Mecca. Their newest EP, Incessant was well received by the drum and bass community and it's styles will surely be one of the focal points for Friday's show.

This is the best closest thing you're going to get to all out drum and bass homie fest. For starts you have The Upbeats, who have repeatedly put out multiple releases through Vision Recordings. Then you have Noisia's Dutch counterparts Black Sun Empire, who've been in the d & b game almost twice as long. Finally, we bring it full circle with some local drum and bass from Mash BP2 and Girls and Boys resident DJs Alex English, Dali and Hiyawatha.
