Memorial Day symbolizes a couple of things for Americans. It's a federal holiday devoted to the remembrance of those who gave their lives while serving in the armed forces - and in good ol' American tradition, we take that whole weekend to celebrate those lives by having cook-outs and beach hang-outs. As such, it's also a symbol for the beginning of summertime.
Nicole Moudaber takes this Memorial Day to the next level by hosting an intimate boat cruise around picturesque Manhattan. On Monday, May 30, get ready to dance as the MOOD Records label-head guides you along a techno-soundtracked journey from sunset into the night. MOOD on the Hudson follows Moudaber's most recent stint in New York City, in which she curated her first, highly acclaimed festival stage takeover, Nicole Moudaber Presents MoodZONE, at Electric Daisy Carnival New York.
MOOD on the Hudson shows just a sliver of what's to come from the leading lady. Monday, May 30, also marks the release of Moudaber's remix for Coyu & Ramiro Lopez's "That's Not Happening" on Bedrock Records, which fans may recognize from her more recent sets since Ultra Music Festival. More tour dates abound for Moudaber, including stops at Spring Awakening Festival and EDC Las Vegas. Her chain of MOOD takeovers continues at a special MoodDAY Miami event before she returns to Europe, kicking off summertime in Ibiza at DC10.
