TOKYO ROSE And ALEX Join Forces On Double EP 'New Era'

Two undisputed pioneers of the “Darkwave” sound, US-based TOKYO ROSE and Scottish talent ALEX have just dropped a joint, two-track EP. The two frequent collaborators’ catalogs are massive, both with a number of projects under their belt, as well as two collaborative albums, Akuma & Akuma II, that even charted on Billboard at #15 and #5 respectively.

The powerful duo’s latest collaborative effort marks their EP New Era, out via Tasty Network, which is arguably one of their best efforts yet. Opening track “Dark Sun” is an explosive, synthwave gem, that is brought to life once again with BLOSSO’s bright remix that completes the EP, while TOKYO ROSE and ALEX hold nothing back with title track “New Era”, combining gritty sound design with sinister progressions and melodies.
