Right off of their Lollapalooza headlining performance in Chicago, the group consisting of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall, and Ted Dwane, known to the world as Mumford & Sons, released their music video for Hopeless Wanderer off of their album Babel. Now while my day consists of electro house summer jams, soothing house beats, and your daily dose of hip-hop ignorance, I figured it would be best to feature the folk band from across the pond. Diving into the music video itself, we come to find that Marcus, Ben, Winston and Ted aren't even in present in their own music video. Now while we saw a glimpse of this when Ron Weasley played Ed Sheeran in the Lego House Music Video, you wouldn't seem to expect it from Mumford & Sons. But, your recasting comedic stars of Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte, Jason Bateman and Ed Helms bring out an unexpected twist to the Mumford fans out there.
So with hilarious beards and the quite-intimate harmonies between Sudeikis and Forte, the “Helpless Wanderer” video shows that the Grammy-winning folk quartet has not gotten too full of themselves yet. The clever move on the British quartet is only another unique feature about their rich chemistry and sense of humor. Enjoy!
