Mizgin is an artist that you need to get to know better. "Numb," marks her return of sorts, building upon here success which hit a wonderful high point in the mid-2010's. Now's she back with a revamped sound in this one. The spectrum of instruments used here - a unique blend of traditional and electronic elements - helps the experience at hand pop off nicely. The beat is design with a more simple approach, which allows the the story and melody on the vocal front to be more gripping and pronounced. The flute in the chorus is one of the most euphoric parts of the track here, driving the energy to a peak and giving the listener a feeling of being lighter than air.
Mizgin has had a fascination with music since the age of 8, which is when she first began signing. Her passion for the artform led her to performing at school shows, venues and local spots around town. A trip to the USA in 2013 would be a game-changer for this musician. It's where she met up with producers and manager that would change her career for the better. By 2014, she was dropping her first promotional single "Get You Off," the video of which went to #4 on MTV's Top 100 charts and stayed there for over 12 weeks in total.
Mizgin prides herself on having artistic control, which has come in handy since she clearly seems to be a visionary and have a knack for setting herself up for success. There's an eerie feeling that this won't be the final release from Mizgin, with more seemingly expected to come in 2022.
