There is nothing like a mimosa to get your morning started off right, especially on a Tuesday. Today, rather than everyone's magical elixir, we have the West Coast DJ, MiMOSA's new EP - Future Trill (Vol. 1).
Recently, Mimosa has been under the radar focusing on production, locking himself in the studio working on his upcoming album and this EP. We were given a first taste of his upcoming album with his single, SWRV. So we could only assume something big was in store for us after hearing this song.
I was first introduced to MiMOSA at Camp Bisco '12 last summer, which was definitely one of my sets from the weekend closing out the Dance Tent the first night at Bisco. I saw he can mix it up a little, as he can can use his skills across the spectrum from calm to just straight down and dirty. MiMOSA is the type of DJ who gives that extra oomph to a song, adding his own flare of trap/trill, psychedelic ambiance, drum & snare, and laidback feeling to make each song his own. He is one of the most dynamic producers out their, and this EP he shows you why.
