Martin Garrix suffered sever elbow sprains last month during the making of him and Jay Hardway’s music video for “Wizard.” According to doctors, the injury sustained was due to “excessive fist pumping.” They warned Garrix that if he continues with this behavior, there’s a very high risk of developing arthritis in both elbows. Martin was out of commission for a couple of weeks after the filming but stated that it was worth it, claiming “I’m a motherfuckin' animal,” and that he will not stop fist pumping to his own songs anytime soon.

Hardway also felt some of the effects when he was pulled on stage with Martin. He has decided to quit pumping. They both sought out Pauly D for counseling and physical therapy.
