South Korean DJ and Producer MACROHARD has just released his first ever EP in collaboration with Father of Chrome entitled Thrive 64 on Beatport and Juno, and it brings out that different kind of sound that one could spend a lot of time searching for. It contains the headlining original track Thrive 64, and two remixes by Chris Val and AIUR. The original mix of Thrive 64 fuses together the two very different worlds of Glitch Hop and Moombahton, something that has not been attempted too often. To give you an idea of what this would sound like, imagine a Dillon Francis moombah-style beat, with a lot of chopped up vocals and laser sounds. Sounds pretty awesome, doesn't it?
To top it all off, MACROHARD made an EXCLUSIVE mix just for Daily Beat, that you could find on our SoundCloud! Now go check out the exclusive mix, and grab a copy of Thrive 64 from Beatport, and as always, happy listening!
