LisaMartine's Playlist of the Week 1/29/13

January 29, 2013 -

Daily Beat Staff

This playlist is made up almost entirely of songs over a decade old. The main artists featured are The Smiths, Radiohead, and The Cure, which together form the soul of nineties British rock.  The other songs on here, though not all by British artists, and not all from the nineties, complement the sounds of these main three well. The playlist is relatively mellow, but is upbeat in places as well. Overall, it should bring you back to a grittier, more melancholy age of rock.

Also, I apologize for being M.I.A. for the last several weeks. However, second semester has begun, and the playlists will keep  coming as well. Hope everyone's new year is going well.
