Unlike most of the bloggers at The Daily Beat, I am by no means an EDM expert. In my own time, I prefer pretty mellow music from a variety of genres. We've decided to begin posting regular playlists of our favorite music to expose readers to artist they might not already listen to, and here is my first one.
Most of the songs featured fall into the category of alternative hip hop or mellow rap, and generally reflect West Coast influences. I credit my friend Sam, from high school, for introducing me to this genre back when I listened to exclusively indie and folk music. Thanks Sam!
