Desert Hearts Announces Huge November Festival

August 21, 2019 -

Rewind back to 2014…big room is still the king of dance music, edm was hitting its main stream peak as artist like Calvin Harris, Diplo, Zedd, and Avicii were riding the airwaves hard, Barbra Streisand was the best thing to hear right before a drop, and Dada Life was so relevant they had their own camping festival.  During this time the bright lights and bubble gum nature of candi raving was all the rage.  However, deep in the mountains of San Diego a movement was finding its footing and hitting its stride.  I’m of course talking about Desert Hearts.  This whimsical, hedonistic adventure land with beautiful people, and techy bass lines was about to take the house scene by storm and changed the partying landscape.

With the long-awaited return of Desert Hearts to Los Angeles paired with the recent release of Desert Hearts Black (Their dark techno label) this party in one of the oldest parks in Los Angeles is set to be one to remember.

Originally a bi annual festival, the Desert Hearts crew decided to scrape their Fall Festival to bring the brand, and gospel of house and techno across the United States.  Fast forward to today, and Desert Hearts has become one of if not the most recognizable tech house parties in the world and has a place on many music lovers bucket lists, and best festivals of all time.  So, it’s no wonder that City Hearts (Their shows outside the festival) have become a name stay as well.  So much so, that in 2017 City Hearts took on a new life as its own Festival set in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, and after a one-year break…its back and better than ever!
