Krewella’s music style was once described as electro-house and even at times a little dubstep. If you have ever seen them live, there is no doubt that they go hard. Jumping on stage, coupled by first row fans getting champagne facials, Krewella always had a show for the masses. However, with the release of their new single, “Live for the Night,” the Krew seems to have taken a different direction after signing with record label powerhouse Columbia Records. With a hidden bass line and amplified vocals, this falls more under the label of pop. Any unexpected listener might even mistake this for another top-40 Ke$ha song. Sure, this is a great song for the pre-teen birthday party, one I'm sure the kids would just want to jump up and down to, but once again, we have another DJ group catering to the masses and leaving their original and unique style behind. In a recent interview with The Krew, they told Daily Beat that releases will be coming in between now (February) and the release of their full studio album.
Krewella: “Can't say exactly when, but we are currently working on our first full length album and couldn't be more excited about it! In the mean time though, we'll be releasing tracks and videos between now and the album release.”

If this is any indication of what’s to come on the rest of the album, than they kiss this fan goodbye. Sorry Krew, but I like your heavy stuff. How about you? Reply to our Tweet above!
