It's hard to deny that Jake Stanczak, better known as Kill the Noise, has had a hell of a year. In late 2015, the Rochester-based producer released Occult Classic. The 10-track, multi-genre masterpiece was KTN best showing yet, featuring contributions from some of the best producers in the industry. That following May, OWSLA released a remix LP for the album. Alt Classic featured over a dozen of the best producers in bass music. Remixes by Herobust, Snails, and Boombox Cartel were arguably more impressive than the original album and could be heard echoing off festival mainstages all summer.

This Friday, Kill the Noise will return to Girls and Boys, and we're giving away a pair of tickets. Support by Mayhem and Aazar promises a bass heavy evening. KTN produced my personal pick for album of the year and were excited to see the OWSLA album takeover at Webster one more time. Click below to enter!
