It's tough for female rappers to make a name for themselves without being placed in a neat, little box. Inevitable comparisons to the queens of the rap game – Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks and the like – will be made, however lazy they may be. Maryland emcee Kelow defies those comparisons; her music is more in line with an act like the Migos or Waka Flocka Flame. "Finna" finds Kelow dousing her voice in AutoTune over an extremely flammable Beat Da Knocker production, with some Young Thug-inspired ad-libs and flows to boot. The single is her first release in over a year and the debut song from her upcoming album Amethyst Stoner.
