Justin Timberlake - Grüv Git In (Sammy Bananas Bootleg)

July 17, 2013 -

On occasion, I come across tracks that may appear 'old' to those blog readers that see massive releases get posted within seconds on multiple media outlets. However, I came across the work of Brooklyn native Sammy Bananas when listening to a much older remix of Miguel's Adorn. But, with Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z taking the stage at Yankee Stadium this Friday, I figured it would be great to feature his remix of JT's "Let the Groove Get In." Bananas' Latin and African musical styles blend flawlessly with Timberlake's voice to create a disco and funky based groove.

Sure, this isn't our parents modern Gloria Estefan, but I'm sure this funky rework and groovy bass guitar will sure get you up to dance. His bootleg seamlessly ties to together the modern vocals of JT with the funk and groove of our past to create the modern Nu Disco genre we all have come to love. Enjoy!
