Jamie Jones returned to Los Angeles with his iconic Paradise label party, Paradise in The Park. The day celebration embraced the coming of the summer season as it took place in the heart of Los Angeles at Pershing Square.

Surrounded by buildings that make up the signature skyline of the concrete metropolis, Pershing Square encapsulated the spirit of downtown LA as the park lay between properties that add to the livelihood of the city.

With a stellar lineup consisting of Airrica, DJ Holographic, Carlita, Art Department b2b Dubfire, and Jamie Jones – this lineup catered to any underground house lover and was certainly the celebration to soak up the sun and groove the weekend away to.

Airrica, a rising star from LA whose talents have been supported by artists like Black Coffee and Themba set the tone for the day as she kicked off the event. Embracing her eclectic sound range, she served up pumping grooves and minimal deep tech.

DJ Holographic followed, bringing proper Detroit house vibes, even wearing a shirt that proudly stated ‘Detroit Not Sorry’. Her cuisine of song selections from disco, house, and R&B was a great way to transition into the sunset set, played by Carlita.

As a Turkish-born DJ and Istanbul-based producer, Carlita’s set was the perfect way to say goodbye to the sunshine and venture into the nighttime. With afro-beat and electro-cumbia inspired house beats, she sailed everyone into the night with the crowd’s energy at a peak.

Art Department b2b Dubfire followed, combining their minds and bringing forth a powerful set that is rare to catch on any given day. Serving groovy house with a taste of techno, the duo transitioned well into the Paradise head honcho's closing set.

Paradise was truly in the park as the grand stage structure lit up the night, and the crowd kept up with every beat and unexpected sound that came from the decks.

Pershing Square was the party spot of the night as these selected curators kept the dancefloor alive from the evening to midnight.
