Jack U, the collaborative project featuring Diplo and Skrillex, finally revealed their first official live preview, "Take U There," which features Canadian singer/songwriter/producer Kiesza. The live recording is taken from the New York City stop on the Mad Decent Block Party tour where the crowd is going absolutely crazy. In regards to the style, it's exactly what you would expect a fusion of these masters would sound like when fused together; epic trap mixed with killer vocals and handful of ridiculousness. The best part is that neither Diplo, nor Skrillex seem to have had the heavier hand in production. The lack of influential bias gives both producers equal time to shine.
The two have been hyping up the project for the past year and this announcement confirms the expectation that they'll be releasing full tracks together as opposed to limiting themselves to collaborative live sets. With the release of, "Take U There," Jack U has launched the project's official social media, including their SoundCloud and Facebook pages, like/follow them for the latest Jack U news.
