Hailing from New Jersey, the producer/DJ duo known as Fratello is an up-and-coming name that you will not want to miss. These brothers, Dominic & Vincent, have a true love for music that can be realized in all of their sets and original productions. I had the pleasure of learning about the two last April when they opened for Hardwell @ The Starlight Ballroom in Philadelphia. They brought an energy that I hadn't yet experienced with most opening acts that I have heard before. It was quite a night!
Dominic and Vincent have the blessing of being related, and because of this, their musical productions are truly inspired by their bond as brothers. Their love for music budded at a young age and has tied over to their involvement for electronic production, and we as listeners can definitely hear the influence of big beats and brass in a very unique style similar to dutch house (not to mention a dash of chainsaw madness!)
I had a chance to speak to them recently about what we can expect in 2013: "The future is going to keep getting bigger and better, a week and a half into 2013 and we already crushed everything we did in 2012. We are currently working on a collaboration with a well known producer which will be out pretty soon. On March 15th we will be in Los Angeles to take care of some marketing things along with a special promo photo shoot. And we are also working on a marketing ploy that has never been done in the EDM culture to date!" (Dominic Cerrito, 1/2 of Fratello)
After hearing that, I can honestly say that I am so excited to see what these guys are going to bring to the table!
