March 23rd was the official commencement of the Institute Launch Compilation, a rebrand of the Trap93 label, which takes on a fresh and innovative style towards music. Every day since the official debut of the launch at The Alibi, artists have been publishing their new tracks via the compilation playlist, and will continue to post daily. Once the final track is uploaded, the full digital download from Bandcamp will be uploaded a week after. I N S T I T U T E strives to focus on both new and old elements of electronic and bass music.
This growing playlist gives listeners a taste of what sounds they willing be releasing over time. Currently, the artists on the playlist include Sarantis, Myth, Drill Drill, Miggo, iLLu, Harikiri, FaderOne, Anton F, Tigerblood, The Mighty Cream, and Jon E Clayface. Each of these artists provides a different take on the overall sound of the playlist, adds a unique flare to the overall compilation, and broadens the moods that are omitted from each song. The diversity of this playlists allows leeway for the songs to be played in a variety of settings, ranging from walking to class, to throwing down at a party. The excitement re-peaks at the beginning of every track; each song is extremely different than the one before, but all of the songs come together cohesively into a dark, bass-heavy, eclectic, and melodic playlist that will keep you on your toes.
