Hot Since 82 took over Orlando's Tier Nightclub on the 22nd of October for the first stop of his North American Tour. The venue was filled with a diverse crowd who were either downstairs on the dance floor or in VIP as well as upstairs getting a birds eye view of the show. Being very close to a major university there was a good amount of college kids but there were also a good amount of aged house enthusiasts. The only complaint I heard throughout the night was the lack of dance floor space due to the large amount of VIP tables on the sides of the dance floor.

The club got rather packed by 11:30 for a Thursday night and was enjoying a wonderful opening set by Carlos Mendoza. Most openers that you witness nowadays do not "open" correctly for the main act but much deserved credit to Mendoza for playing a killer opening set. He played a variety of house and techno that had the crowd dancing non-stop. He did a very good job of warming the crowd up and building up anticipation for the main act.

Hot Since 82 took the stage around 12:30 and at this point the crowd was more than ready for the globally known DJ to take them on a journey.  His DJ sets are known to be filled with body moving beats and soulful breakdowns which were both present during his show in Orlando. He had the crowd singing along to "Voices" and also played his two new club rockers "Veins" and "Damage".

About three quarters of the way through his set their was a malfunction with the club's audio equipment which was a real buzzkill for the crowd. Once the equipment was up and running it did not take Hot Since 82 long to get the crowd dancing again. It was my first time seeing him after years of waiting, so I myself thought the set was incredible and what topped it off for the crowd was when we began to hear him transitioning in the vocals from his remix of "Bigger Than Prince". The night was surely one to remember thanks to Hot Since 82, Vizion 1, IN Orlando, Team Events, and Tier Nightclub.
