Based out of San Diego, Hood Politics is a skyrocketing house label brought to us by the one and only DJ Susan. Often characterized as a "tastemaker known for its gritty hip-hop style", Hood Politics has released fresh takes on songs from the likes of Max Styler, FOMO, PEACE MAKER!, and of course DJ Susan himself. Also, prominent house community figures have supported the label in the past, such as John Summit, Diplo, and GORDO.

With over 200 original tracks and more than 100 edits, Hood Politics is renowned for its consistent delivery of house heaters. Now the platform is switching things up a bit with their new five remix EP Dubstep Forever. The project is a groundbreaking compilation of house flips made on classic heavy bass tracks.

Starting the EP with a bang, DJ Susan and Canadian duo, Broken Future, remix Zomboy's memorable hit "Like A Bitch". This is followed by Hood Politics A&R head, Sherm, and upcoming producer FLYNNINHO. The pair reinvents NGHTMRE and Flux Pavilion's "Feel Your Love". A barrage of crisp drums fuels the track's high-energy bassline.

Next up is Florida native Galo, who flips Adventure Club's "Rise & Fall" into a boiler set essential. Closing out the EP is a remix from Rich Dietz then one from the Hood Politics co-founder, Nutty. Rich Dietz perfectly executes their own rendition of the iconic "Dum Dee Dum" by Keys N Krates. The duo seamlessly blends funky tech house elements into the remix. Turning Skrillex's "Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites" into a house anthem, Nutty creates a remix that is just as timeless as the original.

Featuring some of the best young talent and veteran house artists, Dubstep Forever is a wild ride paying homage to the roots of dubstep. With each producer making their own unique twist, the EP collectively showcases Hood Politics' infectious sound.
