Hans Zimmer - Time (Orkidea's Awake Mix)

April 24, 2014 -

Hugh Lurcott

You can't deny the pleasure of hearing a brilliant orchestral piece converted to the dance floor in all it's uplifting glory. Hans Zimmer's simple melodic progressions lend very well to electronic music, with their instant impact on the emotions and powerful builds. The orchestral original was written for the well known film 'Inception', and now seems a perfect time to flashback this tune after the announcement that Hans Zimmer is scoring an official 'Hymn' for Tomorrowland 2014.

This mix from the venerable Trance artist Orkidea takes us back to 3 years ago, where he released two mixes of the track, one more progressive, and one more uplifting. The breakdown consists of the uplifting strings that make way for techy trance with spine tingling piano that dances over the mix. There aren't a lot of words for the beauty of this one so just download it, did i forget to mention that both releases are free?!
