It's been 2 years since Modestep has graced New York with their unique blend of live rock and heavy electronic, and we were honored to have them back last Saturday. To promote their new album, London Road, bothers Josh and Tony played two very exclusive DJ sets: one in LA and one right here in the Big Apple. Featuring collabs with Funtcase, Teddy Killaz, Culprate, Partysquad, Trolly Snatcha, and Skindred, London Road is a hardcore rock album laced with dubstep, drum n bass, and metal influences. Before they slayed the decks at Slake NY, we got to Hangout with the two brothers and talk tattoos, conspiracy theories, and of course their second full-length album. All bass heads report to iTunes to grab the album now!!
Here's what the hosts had to say about The Hangout session with Modestep:
Dope af brothers taking us on a journey of their lives through their constantly evolving musical style and sound. - Konstantine Poselski
After a while talking to them, it felt like you were talking to some old friends who you haven't seen in a long time, They were both extremely down to earth, easy to talk to, and weren't afraid to be funny or share any and all details about their life- as Modestep and brothers. - Liz Tillman
