In honor of the holiday, electro-funk artist Griz threw down a surprise DJ set via Facebook's new live streaming app. Surrounded by a ganja garden this marijuana enthusiast dropped a dank and diverse set, touching on everything from wonky dub to funky soul. Griz or Grant Kwiecinski, consistently throws down an energetic set with or without his sexy saxophone skills present. In this virtual set the only thing that graced Grant's lips was a larger than life, Cheech and Chong sized joint. Griz always gets the party going, no doubt that thousands of fans across the country rejoiced and proceeded to get down to the kind and creative artist. Starting his set with laid back hip hop and ending with favorites from What So Not and Hermitude made for a multi-faceted, spontaneous set. Stumbling across this gem of a stream got all the feels going, but don't fret if you missed it, it is recorded and up on his Facebook already! If you haven't yet listened to this artist, go do yourself a favor and get acquainted with Griz; one of the most real, and talented artists in the industry. Griz will be head lining big name festivals around the country this summer, and doing live collaborations with artists Big Gigantic and Gramatik under the name Big Grizmatik.
