Friends, family, loved ones, and being home. That's what this time of year reminds us of. It's fair to say that music can remind us of people & places as well. Speaking of, Autograf released a single earlier this year called ‘Simple’. To me, it's sounds as though it could provide a nice nostalgic moment for a lot of people. With silky vocals, soothing lyrics, & having been written in the major scale, ‘Simple’ has all the ingredients a song needs to bring back the memories.
Now, as good as that song is, it's not the focal point of this article. I'd like to show you a specific remix of ‘Simple’. The ‘GLD’ remix. DJ/Producer duo from CT, Jacob Holzman & Matthew Christian make up ‘GLD’. File this remix in your secret stash. Use this when the stereo system bangs. It starts off sounding warm, soft, and inviting. The vocals come in and just tug at your heartstrings. Not before long, your whole world gets flipped, turned upside down. Massive is not enough of a word to describe that drop. Just have a listen and find out for yourself. Their Soundcloud is full of great remixes and originals. They have a distinct sound, and I'd recommend stocking up on some new tunes.
