The 2015 CounterPoint Festival is a 3-day event celebrating the best in today’s music and arts. With three stages, art installations, activities, and plenty of food and drinks, there’s so much to take in. Just over an hour from Atlanta, Counterpoint is held at beautiful Kingston Downs, home to the Atlanta Steeplechase for the past 20 years. The grounds include 5,000 acres of rolling North Georgia Hills surrounded by a river on 3 sides with beautiful views of the Appalachian Mountains in the distance. The venue hosts multiple stages, art installations, camping and a variety of other activities against a scenic backdrop. While the location is secluded, the site is easily accessible from most of the biggest cities in the Southeast
The 2015 lineup features mainstage names such as Zedd, Kygo, and Dillon Francis (*swoon*) as well as some more glitchy artists such as Tipper and Minnesota. The under card is nothing to joke about, as it is populated by the likes of Papadosio, What So Not, and Goldfish. Now, I may be partial to Goldfish because they are just one rad set of guys that rarely come to the states (Ultra Music Festival) and I love their music a bit too much. I highly recommend checking them out online, prepare to have your socks blown off.
