Starting the season off right, Pete Tong, MK and Lee Foss will pay it forward this Friday, December 23 for a special holiday edition of All Gone Pete Tong. Considered some of the most in-demand DJs and producers, the three LA transplants will perform at Sound Nightclub for a special Christmas charity fundraiser that assists organizations close to each of the producers’ hearts. All ticket proceeds will go towards California-based animal group Bullies & Buddies and homeless youth charity organization Spare Some Change, see here for more information.
For more than twenty years, Pete Tong has been one of the most successful radio hosts and tastemakers in the music world. His Essential Mix Show on BBC Radio 1 is listened to all over the world and has been broadcast live from New York and Los Angeles, featuring guests including Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler and more. Serving as President and A&R of FFRR Records, Tong has signed influential groups including Hot Natured, Disciples, and Blonde. A continued supporter of charities, last year Tong biked tp San Francisco from Los Angeles to raise money for The Pablove Organization, which is dedicated to funding cutting-edge research for children’s cancer treatments.
MK’s longstanding career possesses an enormous discography which includes some of the most well-known remixes including Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through,” Nightcrawlers’ “Push The Feeling On,” “My Head Is A Jungle” by Wanklemut & Emma Louise and countless more. MK’s single “Piece of Me” wth Becky Hill has earned Silver plaque status, while his latest single “My Love 4 U” featuring A*M*E is quickly climbing the charts. Having relaunched his Area 10 label earlier this year, his various events and branded stages have featured top artists and DJs including The Martinez Brothers, Camelphat, Hot Since 82, KC Lights, Idris Elba, Groove Armada, Shadowchild and more.
Lee Foss is known as a major influencer in the world of house music, acknowledged as having a huge impact on the underground music scene over the past few years. Foss hit the UK charts with “Benediction” as part of deep house supergroup Hot Natured alongside Hot Creations label partner Jamie Jones and Infinity Ink – as well as genre-spanning hits such as “Electricity” with MK and “Reverse Skydiving” with Anabel Englund, both of which Foss performs with under the moniker of Pleasure State. Foss’ remixes of chart-topping artists such as Rudimental and Lana Del Rey have solidified him as one of the most exciting forces in music, with next year seeing the release of his full-length album.
