Summer is already off to a lit start, and what better way to stack up that list of turnt up nights you've been plotting than by coming out to catch the Revolt crew at their next rager taking place July 1st at Boardner's in Hollywood. Feast your eyes on the TRVP LORD Lineup for Revolt:
This event is featuring a whole lineup of local artists, each with their own stories of how they got into their respective crafts. Check out their stories:
I'm 20 years old from Maryland, I started playing guitar when I was 8. I've always been interested in music. I started making trap music and beats in April 2014 on my laptop. I graduated high school and dropped out of college to move out to California with my homies/ DJ / producer friends in June 2016.
Darkwave is a trap and melodic bass collaboration between Trevor Brandt (Dantian) and Thomas Adams (Cicada) who met when they moved into the same complex in Isla Vista, CA. Thomas has a degree in Audio Engineering from Omega Recording School in Washington DC and specializes in a darker sound characterized by creative sampling and unique basslines. Trevor draws from a background in composition and performance, with years of experience playing a wide range of instruments. His sound is comprised of euphoric melodies with wavy, intense sound design. Together they create Darkwave, a creature all it's own, who's melancholy harmonies are both addicting and unmistakable.
Never mind an autobiography. My sound creates emotion and speaks on a deep level. The fusion of ambiance and Hip-hop is a product of my message WOLFY (We Only Live For Yesterday) which seeks to inspire the audience. Reminding them to believe in their own stories of success, struggle, and self-discovery. Being proud of everything that has made them the person they are today️.
