Music is much more than just sound. It is an outlet for reflection and expressiveness, infused with personal experiences, beliefs, and passion. No one does a better job of exemplifying this than Denver-based rapper G. Finesse. Raised on the east side of Columbus by his grandmother, G. Finesse turned to music to overcome hardships during his childhood. Freestyling to beats made by his older brother, G. Finesse's dedication to the art of rap and lyricism grew more and more as time went on, and so did his flow.
Uniquely blending neo-soul with the components of hip-hop, G. Finesse was able to cultivate his signature style and expand his influence. However, it wasn't until G. Finesse moved to Denver three years ago, that he began his current path. The rising artist met gifted multi-instrumentalist and producer Jay.Greens and they immediately formed a strong connection. Letting their artistic vision blossom, they forged what is to be G. Finesse's debut album, East Side Pain, aiming to share his life story and knowledge with music enthusiasts.
Building up to the highly anticipated release of the album, G. Finesse has decided to drop its lead single "Keep The Fame". This entrancing soulful anthem features a wide spectrum of talent, representing prominent performers from Break Science, Sunsquabi, and Tauk. Complementing G. Finesse's powerful rhymes, backup singer Kim Dawson delivers heavenly vocals that soothe the listener. Via its groundbreaking production, lyrics, and instrumentation, "Keep The Fame" is just a sneak preview of G. Finesse's revolutionary East Side Pain album.
