Legal trouble is in the air for Disclosure, Sam Smith,  Eliza Doolittle and AlunaGeorge as the artists are being sued by songwriter Katie Farrah Sopher  for stealing the lyrics to their hits. Sopher claims that her songbook was stolen by her violent boyfriend Sean Sawyers, which held the lyrics to ‘White Noise’, ‘You and Me’, ‘Latch’, and AlunaGeorge's solo track, ‘Attracting Flies’.

Sawyers supposedly gave the content of the songbook out to his contacts in the music industry with no consent from Sopher, which is claimed to be inspired by the abuse she suffered during their relationship with him. Sopher is now seeking £200,000 ($231,820) in damages.

Sawyers has denied all allegations, stating:

"I am denying all the allegations… There is zero truth to the claims made against me. I never saw the book the claimant mentions… [so] I could not have committed the alleged damages, theft, (and) copyright infringement."disclosure
