FTampa Strikes It Up

October 27, 2015 -

FTampa has literally been on fire as of late. His latest, "Strike It Up", has already reached #1 on Beatport Electro House Top 100 and #11 on the Beatport Top 100 since being released just barely a week ago. FTampa has also gained high praise from someone who knows a little something about recognizing quality tracks. Tiesto dropped "Strike It Up" at Creamfields this year and rightfully so described the track as "sick" and ever since the track has been burning up the industry. While staying true to his own original style and energy, FTampa surprises with stunning vocals and a refined melody. This comes in after recently releasing a sexy, club anthem remix of NERVO's "Hey Ricky", showcasing the versatile range that he is capable of.

FTampa's stray from his trademark sound and into unknown space is something to be praised and respected. Fans these days are becoming more and more open minded, however it takes balls to release a melodic, progressive track when those fans and non-fans expect an oversaturated big room production. The single was released on Musical Freedom, and it seems like FTampa has taken a hint from label head Tiesto on the production  and execution of the track. With a few tour stops in Bolivia and Brazil to top the year off, FTampa looks to build on this momentum going into 2016 and we can't wait to see just how much more heat he will bring to the industry.
