Newly released from his Skin Companion EP II, Flume dropped this chill-hop tune with Dave Bayley from Glass Animals. In "Fantastic," Dave adds just the right amount of his soothing presence to this unabashedly gritty track. Sounds like Flume isn't afraid to get a little dirty and stray from his usual clean-cut presentation.
There's a hint of a Bonobo-like influence in the intro with the soft wind instrument melody taking the stage. Then a transition into a hip-hop beat with airy synths kicks in the groove of the track, similar to the stylings of Nosaj Thing and Flying Lotus.
He also released three other tracks in this EP: "Depth Change," "Enough" featuring Pusha T, and "Weekend" featuring Moses Sumney all of which can be found on his YouTube account and is available for purchase through Apple Music.
For now, check out the laid back tune "Fantastic" below!
