On Thursday, April 3, 2014 I received a text from a close friend inviting me to a secret set that was to take place underground of the greatest city in the world: The New York City subway. A unique experience put on by the Fight Clvb trio was something I definitely could not pass up. I quickly cancelled plans, invited a few more close friends to join the mob and, of course, hinted it via status update on Facebook: "Some secret 'underground' shit happening on the L train tonight. I suggest you board around 8:30pm." A slew of texts followed and the anticipated crowd for the night grew. We all met in Union Square around 8pm, Carly with her microphone, Stephan with the amp, and Mystereo with his bat in hand. We headed down to the packed-out L train to voyage from Brooklyn and back.
