Feyln is on the rise and for good reason. He's laid down some serious musical groundwork when it comes to the beats he's been making, often combining technical production elements with emotional, deep-feeling vibes that wash over the listener with warmth and acceptance. Culpas EP is the next step in this artist's journey and has even found a fitting label to work with him on it, Emercive Recordings. Feyln has shared 4-tracks on this one, the totality of the experience bringing a sense of balance altogether. With that said, each track on it's own has unique traits that make them winners from an individualized perspective.
Although "Burn," "I Can Fever," and "Masquerada," each have stand-out-strengths they offer, something about "Square Waves," in particular, is exceptionally alluring. Lots of catchy wubs and feminine vocal samples roll out as rising sirens take the creative direction in an unpredictable path. Gripping, magnifying, and altogether satisfying begins to describe the impression it leaves you with as the track eases to a close. Culpas EP is something not to skip over, acting as a quaint progressive step from what we know of this artist previously.
